What Savvys can you teach? – As a 3 Star Parelli Professional I am licensed to teach Online (ground skills), Liberty (without a halter), Freestyle riding (loose rein), and riding with Finesse (contact) in Levels 1-4.
What Level do I need to pass to take a lesson? – You don’t have to have any Levels officially passed to study with me! I teach you where you are in your journey.
Can I pass any Parelli Levels with you? – Yes! I am licensed to assess Level 1 and Level 2 in person.
Do I need to be an experienced rider? – You don’t have to be a pro to love horses! Whether you’re a successful competitor or just starting out with your first horse, I can help you increase your savvy and build your horse’s foundation.
Do I need my own horse? – Yes. I do not give lessons with my personal horses. If you own, lease, or have permission to use someone else’s horse, let’s get started!
Do you accept horses for training? – Yes! I accept horses in for training for a minimum of one month. To view a sample of my contract, click here.
What if I need a quick fix? – If you encounter a behavior issue or problem, I can still help! I’m available on call to consult with you and talk you through the situation. (Though the best way to fix a problem is to prevent it – Do less sooner instead of more later!)
I can’t commit to weekly lessons – Not available to have regularly scheduled lessons? That’s ok! Whether it’s once a month or once a year, I’m here to help you at your convenience! I teach 7 days a week, and hours are flexible!
How much do you charge? – Currently I am charging $75 per hour. My flat travel rate is $10, and may vary depending on the distance traveled. $30 per hour driven.
Still wanting more? I also offer 1 day ($300) and 2 day ($600) workshops, and clinics up to 4 days ($1,200). I can teach up to 8 students with horses, or 10 students without horses. I’m also available to do demos and topical seminars!
Try before you buy! – For when you need a second pair of eyes from an experienced horse owner and instructor. I will go with you to test the horse’s ground manners, and will even ride the horse if you need.
